Michael Stanley Crumpler I, East Stroudsburg, PA With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Stanley Crumpler I, who departed on April 22, 2025, at the age of 38. He had a distinguished career in education, serving as a teacher, coach, and administrator, including as superintendent of the Naylor R-11 School District. He was later elected to the Missouri House of Representatives, where he served multiple terms. In 2017, he publicly announced his need for a liver transplant due to liver failure resulting from a blood transfusion in the 1970s. He underwent testing and sought a transplant at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis .
